Purpose Statement: Ever since 1980, a flood of immigrants came to East Bay Berkeley area. Besides seeking a settled life, people also expect a place to settle their heart. With Jesus' love, EFC of Berkeley was founded to help new comers to adjust to the life here. Also with the special location, we find many college students to study here by themselves. With heavy school work, they find problems in many areas in life. Ever since 1989, EFC Berkeley is involved in school work, to provide students a warm big family.

Style/Congregation: Semi-Traditional. Mostly adults from Taiwan with a group of students/young adults. Sermon is mostly in Mandarin, sometimes in Cantonese.
